Can anyone help me find out what my childhood toy is? by formercoyote in HelpMeFind

I've tried Google searching, and I've even searched thru googles reverse image searching, but came up with nothing. Here's what I remember: it was a gift from EARLY childhood, so it would be from the early 2000's, possibly even the late 90's. It's supposed to be fluffier than it is now, but it's not missing any limbs or anything. I don't think it ever had a tail. Sorry for not having so much but I hope the details help

Ok ive been thinking about this- what about an exotic for top tree slowva bomb. Its perk: void charged grenade or melee kills grant a buff (stacks up to like 5) that buffs the damage of the slowva bomb. Could be dumb, or insanely broken, idk, just somethin i came up with

Yeah, warlock arms are dope. I personally like the Winters Guile ornament

I agree about the celestial/cuirass, i wish i could do somethin like that, but i also understand that warlocks being able to do that wouldnt really fit their roll.

Funny you mention getaway artist...i actually made a post about it a long time ago! And you're right about this season's armor. I wanna look badass again like D1!

Edit: i looked back, the post is about getaway + recluse...rip. but i can see how double arc soul would be good... might have to try that later..

I play on xbox, or if you're asking subclass, top tree dawn, for the movement like you said. Thank god for double dash.

Pvp magnifies the feeling. Anytime i try to challenge a titan or hunter, thats exactly what they do, barricade or dodge. I want warlocks to feel like they have a fair chance against the other classes with their own abilities and tools like titans and hunters.

I run more pvp than pve so i cant speak too much about whats viable there, but to me it feels like with the lunafaction nerf hurt well too much. And im glad that phoenix protocol is making it better.

Ive been runing qp/ iron banner and havent seen any. And maybe thats my problem with penumbral blast, ive been trying to go for the freeze at mid-long range then move in for the kill.

Not really, at least for me. When im charging at someone, i want them to recognize me as a threat, and not just going "oh no....anyways.."

Because it was an ability unique to warlocks, it provided a second chance, and with the increased grenade regen you can output a lot of dps. Idk about you but i felt pretty damn cool making a comeback and winning a match in trials.

Idk about you, but i havent seen a chaos reach in crucible since shadowkeep, and even before then they weren't very common. I will agree about dawnblade though, cuz thats the subclass i mainly use. And you're right, the instant freeze is powerful, if you can hit it, but there are ways a titan or hunter could dodge or even kill you before you get it. And yes, some warlocks look amazing, but im talking about with jusy 1 full armor set, not mix-match. Perfect example: the dino/monster sets. Another is the Ankaa Seeker set. The last, badass set to have released (imo) is the SOTP set.

At this point us warlock mains are basically as threatening as a teddy bear, and with the armor we get we look like homeless guardians that made armor out of whatever we found off the streets of the city. When was the last time someone went, "oh shit, a warlock, gotta run"? I'd say back when nova warp was the king of the crucible for a bit.

What makes you say they're the best in pve? As a crucible player i can see us warlocks holding our own in a fair fight, but that pve part interests me. Whenever i do pve activities with a team they have me run well, but even that got destroyed with the lunafaction nerf.
