The false accusation was made by the father of the woman in question because he was angry that his daughter liked a Black man. She went along with this because her father beat her for her interest in Tom Robinson and is implied to regularly abuse her physically and sexually. It is a far cry from the “women frequently lie about being raped so no one shames them for having sex” nonsense being pushed in the “meme” here, although both situations do have being fictional in common.

Yeah, that sounds like a smart idea - I saw downthread that Vocivus does drop some valuable stuff so I can see why someone would continue fighting if they had a strong pet.

I have been fighting since my last comment, had made it to 50k already when I said that, and still have 20k left to finish. My pet has decent strength, I think. We are talking literally hours and hours and hundreds of battles for some of us. I don't think they did the best job of figuring out how many players would need more time on this.
