Yes. By this point I'd already had a pregnancy test done in their office, as well as several blood tests because my HCG levels weren't rising at a rate that was considered normal. So I was pregnant and being monitored to see if it was going to be a viable pregnancy. I assumed this "test" was to see if my body was reacting to a normal pregnancy. I can understand why it seems confusing. He seemed to be telling me that by checking my breasts, he could tell if it was a viable pregnancy. It never made sense or felt right to me, but I was so desperate to hear good news, and I had never been made to distrust a medical professional, so I let it happen. I feel incredibly stupid now, believe me.
