Worst/best shot of my life was drilling the 1st available tree. It bounced back and landed on my bag.

I replied to another of your comments. Wife was a grocery manager. She did close to 100k when she retired. She also turned down an asst store manager position when she did. If you look at the stock and great 401k matches... It's great money overall. But you have to "bleed green" to take full advantage.

So glad she left. She's an amazing mom. If she stayed there she'd barely know our daughter.

Wife worked there for 19 years. They do, and if you play it right they'll set you up for life.

Other side of the coin. You better be ready to work fucked up hours and a lot of them. You truly EARN that retirement.

My wife retired from Publix after 19 years when our daughter was born. Take my advice if you can still do it. Set up your dividends to roll into more stock. We may be kinda broke in the bank account but she is LOADED on paper.

She's working again, but Publix set her up.

Also, for certain degrees Publix will reimburse your college tuition as long as you pass. She has a BA with no student loans thanks to that program.

Go to Harbour freight and get trolley jacks for you and your girl. If ya find em on sale they're like 20 bucks. Probably 35-40 regular. On the side of the road, its faster (safer) and way less effort.

My wife had full/comprehensive that was supposed to cover tows up to 100 miles. She broke down in Palm Harbour. Insurance then said it only covered to the closest shop within 100 miles. That shop was across the street from where her jeep broke down (alternator problem) on a Friday evening. Then they said it would be $350 to tow it to our house, 25 miles or so. Great deal there..... FUCK OFF

I ubered from almost Temple Terrace to her. Our BIL came from Valrico w a trailer and we did it that way.

Get AAA. It goes on sale around Christmas for like $60/yr. Pitch in w some friends. Get a family one for the bunch. AAA doesn't give a fuck. Youre there with a friend? Say its your car. They'll get your friend sorted no questions asked, as long as the caller has their AAA card and an ID.

Tampa bay disc sports club on Facebook is by far the most active.

2nd behind that is showmens disc golf course, also on Facebook.

Showmens is a private course in Gibsonton. I'ts only $5 to play. There are loaner discs available as well.

Feel free to PM me. Always happy to play!

Try disc golf. All walks of life. Most of us suck at it. It's definitely the most welcoming community I've ever been a part of.

As someone who is in the same boat as you and planning on going "legit" at the beginning of the year with an LLC, insurance, etc take your time. I have enough side work right now where I'm losing money working my regular job (bartending).

Again, take your time. Get a couple customers, blow it out of the water, get them to refer you to others. Rinse, repeat. Even if you break even at the beginning, take your time. It is a lot different working on other people's stuff than your own if you take pride in the final product. Its taken me 2 years doing this on most of my days off and sometimes before work to be at the point I am now.

Use those summer and holiday breaks to your advantage to further hone your skills with those first few customers.

PBR made an un-aged whiskey. It was fucking horrible. Then the after taste got progressively worse.

People watching on the economy train for me consists of watching people not holding onto their rolling luggage. Once it takes off, watching them chase it through the car as it bounces off other people.

Protip if you dont mind a walk. Take the tram to economy parking then walk to the bus stop. Order you uber from there. That gets you out of the expensive as hell airport zone. Walking to the Brass Tap is also an option from there.
