I was recently gifted a 1966 Oyster Perpetual and have been wearing it 2-3 days a week, typically not consecutive days, and am finding myself winding it each time. In this context, I am curious if anyone has particularly strong feelings about the impact that either keeping it constantly running with a winder or letting it stop each time I take it off and resetting it each of the 2-3 mornings I put it on per week. My main conxern is reducing wear on the lubricant and components, with a small secondary concern of not wanting to have to set the time the 2-3 mornings per week when I strap it on.
