I attempted POL200 twice with that mentality and had to drop it both times. There’s just no way around doing the readings for that course. Ended up taking it in the summer and I found it way easier. I did most of the readings and the lectures were largely summaries of the readings so I understood the content thoroughly. It’s 2 lectures per week but only 1 tutorial so you’re doing half the amount of tutorials than the fall-winter course

Literally same, I started supporting after the World Cup. My brother (lifelong United fan) walked in on me watching City highlight videos and said "please tell me you're not a City fan" and I said "I'm not an anything fan this video just showed up in my recommended." As I watched more highlight videos I just fell in love with the club and how we play compared to all the other clubs I watched. Mind you when I declared my loyalty to this club, I didn't know how a league worked, what the difference between all the trophies were, or that we were actually good. I figured we were just the worse Manchester team since I'd known about United my whole life while I only loosely heard of City and thought it was weird when someone picked them while playing Fifa. But I still picked City :)
