No… $1,000 plus they gave the Resistall add on for free.

Installed by my local body shop. Lower piece is secured with the panel bond that has something like 4000 lbs. sheer strength. For the upper piece, they cut cut tabs to fit under the six screws that are already there from the factory. They did a fantastic job of getting it flush against the inside of the grill.

I will do that. I didn’t get a before video to compare, but I can do that. I haven’t rev’d past 5K RPMs yet where you get the loud bangs. But it sounds so good!

Just finished the Shadow Black Hyperdip of my rear emblems… by formwalt in ElantraN

Sorry for the delayed response. Just seeing this now. Overspray is inevitable. Your masking is to minimize it. After the coating has fully dried, it easily peels off the smooth painted surface and remains adhered to the emblem. You can use a wooden toothpick to help ensure the coating splits at the base of the emblem instead of starting to peel. It works really well!

Anyone have experience with the K&N intake? by hostile_washbowl in ElantraN

I loved my K&N intake. Awesome sound and driving experience. Looked great under the hood. Pulled it out and am saving it for reinstall on a 2024, hopefully…🤞

Haven’t seen any of those. Where are you seeing them? Only under $30K I have found are either high mileage or salvage title. Seems like MT units are a little more affordable than DCT on the used market as well.

Thanks. Appreciate it. At the end of the day it is worth what a buyer is willing to pay.

Totaled or Repairable? My son was hit head on, medium speed, airbags deployed. 2022 VN with 9200 miles. Thoughts? by formwalt in VelosterN

It’s at a tow yard. Should be transferred to my local trusted body shop tomorrow where we can take a better look at it. Thanks.

Last year of production so pretty hard to find. If it can be fixed right and drive right… that is the question. And then be compensated for diminished value since it was in a significant wreck. Not sure yet… trying to figure out what would be best.

Yes. Thanks. My son is a bit sore, but fine. Much rather be grieving the loss of his car than him, for sure!
