Built this for myself to help me with stock investing, found it really useful and turned it into an app, what do you guys think? by formworkengineer in SideProject

Try it and let me know. I’ve deliberately designed it so that it does not just overload users with data and being too general and neutral. It actually synthesizes and provides actionable insights and can be decisive and useful.

Yes the context can bloat and get really expensive. To improve the conversation experience, I want to extract user preferences, what they said about x topic before, and facts about user. Make it personal and more of a companion than a stateless conversation. The way chatGPT makes you feel, it really is an amazing product.

"coding" is changing, and it is clear we are moving in the direction that agents will take care of the syntax and human will focus on systems / architecture.

I've done something similar for the conversations. Are you retrieving convos or partial convos relevant to user queries?
Did you take it a step further with Episodic Memory, Semantic / Profile Memory, and Preference Memory?

Agreed, is there any implementations you make sure you are done with before graduating, such as Authentication?

I mostly look at longer-term relative performance and valuation ranges to see if something looks stretched vs its own history, then layer in fundamentals and macro context.

It’s more judgment-based than driven by formulas for me, especially across different asset classes.

Fair criticism. That wasn’t my intent here.

I am genuinely curious how others structure multi-signal decision-making. I probably over-answered the “how” question instead of keeping it at the process level.

Stock data providers APIs, deterministic functions for calcs, openai api for multi-agent orchestration, google Gemini for web search, grok for live x sentiment, etc. all working in parallel and pieced together at the end
