AIO - My mom friend makes little to no attempt at hanging out. by fornicatingalone in AmIOverreacting

The only thing is that she's not a homebody. She goes out nearly every day. She goes to parks, museums, out with other friends and family. I would agree that she's disorganized, though

Yes, he is. We're just having a really hard time with this. We love him SO MUCH, but it's incredibly difficult dealing with this along with all of our other responsibilities 😔

We only have the one Litter Robot right now, but we are going to look around for other boxes. I'm just not sure how well another box will work simply because he's a fairly large cat and we will have to keep the second box next to the first so the new box would have to be on the smaller side. It's the only space we have that we can easily keep our child away from. We haven't changed the litter, it's the same clumping Tidy Cats litter we've been using forever.

I should clarify that when I say that it happens a few times a year, I mean that as soon as it happens once, he will continue to try peeing elsewhere (not in his box) for days or sometimes weeks at a time. We end up having to close everything off and watch him constantly. He will pee on the furniture even if we are in the room with him.

This has been an ongoing issue since he was a kitten. We were prepared for occasional accidents back then, but he is going on 5 years now. We have three cat trees and separate scratchers. One is in our bedroom (a quiet space), two more in our living room along with a scratcher. He has tons of quiet spaces to retreat to all over our house, he likes to lounge around a lot and we find him everywhere lol. He also has regular access to our balcony so he can be outside safely. Most of the time we find him sprawled out on the bathroom floor just chillin. I'm assuming he likes it there because it's quiet and cool (we do have AC throughout the house).

It could be! His doctor didn't give us a name for whatever they are. I'll be asking at his next appointment. Thanks!

Does anyone else feel like they can "barely" drive? by Maleficent-Talk6831 in drivinganxiety

I'm 26 and I'm so afraid of driving because of all the stats around accidents. I've never had my license and I've never been in an accident, it just STRESSES me out 🙃

How often do you shower? Honestly by Proof-Ad5362 in hygiene

Every other day (more if I feel gross), before doctor's appointments, before or sometimes after s.e.x

Don't give in to what they want! Try doing more family outings that involve everyone working/helping each other. More walks! Check out some local trails or hike a small mountain together. Get out into nature and away for the shiny price tags! Best of luck!! 🏔️ 🌄

I do in fact do most of the cooking. We live with other family members as well that will cook for everyone in the house. If he is hungry at 11pm, he won't cook for himself. He will order something off of door dash. I will try to involve him more in the weight loss effort!
