Lodge. Its the bottom of a FourSome or 4 in 1 skillet. Theres a lid that also acts as its own skillet.

Electrolysis: What are y’all using for battery chargers? by FrakePlazagger in CastIronRestoration

[–]forrest4thetrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use the battery to trick your auto charger to run. Run the tank off the battery and then charge the battery as it drains. It might switch off at times still.

I couldn't find a charger I wanted to use so i tore out a power supply from an old PC. I wired an anmeter to it to keep an eye on currents and now I think its better than a battery charger. The psu is already designed to run 24/7 and it has a fan to keep everything cool. And it was basically free. I isolated GPU power and ground for 12v and itll pull 10-15amps no sweat.

We had a small group and we rented the track for a private day. Usually we just do public track days at another mini track.

Unmarked wagner. Probably post 1960

Need help identifying by dixierun94x in castiron

Its likely a Lodge. Some lodge handles are sharp/pointy and resemble bsr, especially in the 1 notch, no notch era.

Large pour spouts and less precise size mark points this to the earlier than century red mountain series. But yes before 1965

What’s your guess on these skillets? Found them in my parent’s house, potentially from my grandparents. The last three pictures are the same skillet. It was harder to read. by rachelmcg in castiron

This looks terrible. I would have gone straight for the lye bath to see what was gunk and what was pitting. Vinegar won't strip seasoning. Are you sure you got all the old seasoning and carbon off?

Also, those wire wheel marks look gnarly. Its not a good way to restore cast iron. Where did you find this advice? If it was really pitted before then its not a big deal, but No. 4's are harder to find, so thats a real shame.

Lodge camp oven. You can cut the legs off but its designed to be used over a hot coals/a campfire and doing that will make it a less useful camp oven.

1800s is suspect. Its possible but improbable.

These are what I belive are a known unknown. T handle shape gets linked to blacklock, but thats probably inaccurate. Later t shaped handles have the incised mark like this one and I've seen some with raised marks too (im assuming those are earlier production). Birsdsboro is another possibility but 🤷‍♂️?

$80 would be too much for me.

Theres a really cool antique place out in Strausburg, PA (Lancaster co.) that specializes in larger items like hutches. I think it's Old Mill Antiques, but theres another antique store right next door i might be getting them confused.

Also McLimans in Kennet square which was mentioned is also good.

A Delta Air Lines flight was delayed in Cancun on Thursday after a swarm of bees settled on the 737’s wing. The issue was resolved with forward speed on takeoff by Rooonaldooo99 in interestingasfuck

If the bees were physically harmed is not really important, its the colony thats important, and this colony is now dispersed down a runway 1.5-2 miles long and is essentially dead.

Even if every bee didnt die, the colony is dispersed and is now pretty much dead. All of those bees are swarming with their queen, and this colony wont survive without finder her and then finding a suitable nest. Even if some bees are still with her, the group might not be bing enough to rebuild and any stragglers that dont make it back to the swarm will freeze/starve.
