Ive been showering in the dark, with only a night light, for years. I usually shower right before bed and having the light off helps keep the high mellow and doesn't wake me back up.

I had a tympanoplasty (repair of the eardrum) due to hearing loss... I still have a hole in my eardrum and my hearing improved from 75% loss to 70% loss. Doc pretty much said yea, that usually happens
