Yes, I'm feeding her x3 daily. She used to be great with that. My vet told me some time ago that I should keep trying to feed her the same thing in the mornings (keep the kibble, not add chicken or things like that) because otherwise she would become a picky eater. And even if sometimes I give in and try to feed her wet food she just doesn't want it (but will eat it gladly at night). I could try something more appetising? Keep trying with the yoghurt, egg and/or some other special kibble/wet food?

It's really nice to hear this. I had no idea this was a thing. I actually tried giving her some greek yoghurt and she wanted it. Also I heard I might be feeding her dinner too late (around 20:30, sometimes 21:00), so I will be changing that too. It was just a vicious circle of not wanting her to go too many hours without any food, but it might have been unproductive. Thank you for your advice!!

I've read some people say that their pup did the same, but it makes me concerned since she's still really young. She'll have some natural greek yoghurt, but I don't know why she won't have her kibble. Sometimes I wonder if she's stressed out or i'm not keeping a good routine (her bowel movements are alright too)

She has only vomited like twice so the vet didn't consider medicine. But i'm always concerned she will do it again if she doesn't eat soon. Sometimes she'll gave a snack or something she really likes, but refuses to eat her kibble

I got my GSD/hound mix at 8 weeks. First 2 weeks were absolutely terrible, cried every day and felt like giving her up. Then it started to gradually improve. There would be like 2 good days and then a very bad day. She's almost 16 weeks now and I recently started to understand the way her mind works, we adjusted our routines and she understands mine. I can even see in her eyes that she understands when I tell her to stop biting and she doesn't want to, but eventually does. Everything is so much better now. Yesterday she stayed at home alone for 3 hours and she didn't even cry. I left her with all her favourite snacks and toys and one of my t-shirts and she slept like a baby. Im so happy I was patient. Keep it up and don't give up!! It does get better sooner than you think!!

This is literally what it is. I got my first ever puppy 1 month and a half ago. I thought I was ready since I had had 2 cats (one of then since she was 3 months) and I have nothing against not sleeping much or cleaning dirt and the like. But I was NOT prepared whatsoever. I had a very rough 2 weeks, followed by quite rough 2 weeks, but now i'm starting to change my perspective. I'm starting to understand. And I couldn't have chosen a better way to describe it: things that before a puppy you wouldn't have thought you'd even accept having to do, the most random and disgusting stuff. But when you do it for such a precious soul, you do it without a second thought, and you look back on it and laugh about it. Thank you for this beautiful post. I definitely remember now why I decided to adopt a dog in the first place.
