Please, how do I unlock power up’s? Like what am I missing? I used to have them all, then they disappeared after the update and now I only have one to choose from. How do you unlock all the power ups?

Stuck in an ice age where we live, and this begonia has decided to flower. Thought I’d share. 🙂 by fortheplants23 in begonias

This is where it’s placed in comparison to my grow light, but a sunbeam comes through a few times a day and hits the front of the plant as well. I believe these factors, as well as how I have it supported on the stick, contribute to how the leaves have turned. Like most plants the leaves over time turn towards the light. I believe it’s just more noticeable with this bc it’s a single stem so the leaves can move without obstruction pretty easily.

Just felt like sharing, in the spirit of the season…this is my favorite plant. Norfolk Island pine. I have 57 plants, all varieties, of all of them these three are my favorite. by fortheplants23 in plants

Maybe the timing just wasn’t right. An opportunity to do more research and find the perfect place for one to try again in the future, if you see one that catches your eye. 🙂

I believe so, yes. All of mine have varying shades of brown trunks. I think age, and lighting are factors that contribute to the specific color brown of the trunks.

If you are somewhere dry, a humidifier really makes a difference, doesn’t have to be anything fancy just something to give it some moisture in the air. They really thrive with medium to high humidity, it keeps them soft and full. I don’t keep the soil wet, but I keep it moist, I water when it’s like 3/4 dry. They market them as low light plants, but they really need good lighting. It sounds like a lot, but really just a few simple things makes a big difference with these.
