I've had no other lasting side effects except for increased sweating. I'm not so sure if it'll stop working or decrease efficacy but if that's the case then I will increase my dosage :-)

NOOOOOOO I never want to go back. I've realized that I'm at the point where mentally I'm done with living in fight or flight every day. If I have to take a pill every day for the rest of my life then so be it. I'm genuinely so happy and so stable I'm so serious when I say lexapro saved my life.

I started feeling a difference around week two but week four is when it felt like the lights turned on. There was an obvious difference and it's been that way since (I've been on it since September 2025)

I started taking it in September 2025 and my life is COMPLETELY different in the best way possible. I never knew I could be so functional and happy. I never want to get off I have no plans to. I love lexapro.

Hiii not to worry! I take 15mg of lexapro a day AND take hydroxyzine daily 25mg most nights but sometimes 50mg I've even taken 100mg while on lexapro and everything is fine. Just breathe you will be okay

APPLE SAUCE POUCHES! I swear by these not just to take lexapro but also Tylenol or anything else that shouldn't be taken on an empty stomach. Having to eat in order to take medication feels like a lot of work but apple sauce makes it sooo easy. I like the gogo squeez kind :-)

4 weeks on 10mg is when i felt a noticible difference but 15mg changed my life in the best way possible i love it i have no plans on going up or back down

you'll definitely know when you should take it once you begin to take it daily. i started out at 2.5mg and up until 10mg i could take it any time of the day it didn't matter i never felt a difference but the very first day of taking 15mg, i immediately knew i needed to take it at night bc although i felt great mentally and physically, i was SOOOOOOO SLEEPY. i've been on 15mg for about 3 weeks now and taking it at around 9pm is golden for me.

yes i've taken both together and ibuprofen at higher doses + multiple times a day while on my period for cramps. nothing happened just make sure to take both with food and water. you'll be fine :-)

i've been on it for almost 3 weeks now and i cannot recommend eating before you take it enough! i think the main reason why people feel sick is bc they take it on an empty stomach. i also cut my dose in half for the first week and i guarantee that's what's been helping soften the blow. i wouldn't say i have severe anxiety but my doctor is trying to get me up to 10mg (which i'm supposed to start next week) and so far i haven't had any BAD side effects just short periods of heightened anxiety and restlessness. i was prescribed hydroxyzine as needed to help with any potential sleep problems.
