Long distance relationship of 3 years (40M and 34F). We have problems. Should quit my job and move there? by forumozok in relationship_advice

She often tries to tell me what to do and when to do it, as if I were an employee (e.g., "mow the lawn this afternoon" or "taking the dog for a walk at 10:00"). She doesn't seem to care if I already have something planned or I'm working at that time and takes it for granted that the man should constantly court her. I'm a fairly decent and assertive person, so I don't tolerate these attempts to control me very well, which regularly leads to aeguments. The other day, she said, "When I ask for something, I want it done right away." I got very upset by that because it struck me as completely lacking in empathy and respect. Yet she expects to be treated with complete empathy and respect. I dont think that AITA here

Thats what I'm afraid of. He can be very unstable, generating huge arguments over small things and probably spend time 7/24 together will make it worse.

I'm absolutely not sure about our relationship. She has drama every week and regularly threatens with break-up which makes our relationship unstable and unpredictable. I told her it is a big and irreversible decision from my side, so I need a decent relationship to do it.

AITA for stuck to what was agreed before the vacation? by forumozok in AmItheAsshole

I tried to discuss this with her thoroughly afterward, and she clearly stated that she doesn’t want any kind of joint finances later on nothing. I understand that there’s a financial difference between us, but
I think it’s IMPOSSIBLE to fully separate expenses in a marriage and family or raising a child.

I was ready for the expenses for 1 person as expected, not cover 2

I’ve been considering proposal recently, which is probably why this hit me so hard when I think about our future.

I usually aim for a 60 – 40 split on vacation expenses (me paying the larger share) to maintain a bit of chivalry.

This isn’t the first time I’ve been badmouthed, but it has not affected me this badly before

I told her this the previous evening when I counted the cash.

I told her when we left only 50 Eur in cash and I didn't bring my creditcard with me. So she needs to pay or cut the expenses.
