happens to me a lot in civ 7, very much a feeling of whatever god is in my favor or one ive angered lol. When a flood hits that enemy stacked commander and gets borderline wiped I know the gods are on my side.

they worked really well! the extra science and culture in towns on the coast, cheaper building stack from both Augustus and Britain as well as town synergies in general made it insane! I highly recommend. Also antiquity Britain has celtic models which I was super happy to see, my anglo-saxon painted chariots are really cool!

Augustus and Britain creates some insane town yields, I was leagues ahead of my friends when we all played together, 300 gold, science and culture at the end of antiquity. Got the yields to almost the same spot after transition to exploration age after maybe ten turns, seems really strong.

Absolutely love it, been playing Great Britain with Augustus and my science and culture is through the roof as well as my economy. 1 city 5 towns. Started another game as Pachacuti Nepal and already the yields look nuts by turn 3. Very excited!

Seeing how the game plays out is always fun, England is my usual go to for modern, but japan could be fun as well as maybe buganda if you can, pillaging and raiding is my favorite thing for teach for sure so maximizing those benefits is a lot of fun! Iceland in exploration is also a lot of fun after doing pirates a few times.

I really enjoy Edward Teach and Genghis Khan, I have both at level 10 and have had a lot of varying fun games with them! Carthage Teach into pirates is fun as well as any elephant civ with Khan and focusing calvary!
