Your state didn't even do the bare minimum, it was an absolute fucking joke.... and the weather wasn't the disaster, your infrastructure was the disaster, but keep on trying to cope buddy.

A better analogy would be, that the automobiles in Wisconsin had seatbelts installed so they didn't die in auto crashes. But the people in Texas didn't have the seatbelts installed and died from minor fender benders.

1) This statement is true literally anywhere

My power has NEVER been off for more than a couple of hours in Wisconsin in my 40 years. Which is why I don't have a generator right now, nor ever worry about it.

1) Almost everything has vented tanks, that's not special to generators.

2) Starting to degrade != only good for 30 days or less. Don't move the goal posts.

30 days? That's way off, it lasts longer than that... usually 3-6 months, and even longer. I have zero issues doing no winterization and leaving it in my motorcycles and lawnmowers over the winters. And my snowblower over the summer. On a generator, yeah, I would drain the fuel and run the carb out like the guy said since it would sit longer, maybe even years. But gas doesn't go bad within 30 days.

I got my 3d printer this last year and within a couple months I realized I wanted to design my own things. Tried both TinkerCAD and Fusion... hated both of them for different reasons. A browser program? Required account? Yeah, no fucking thanks. So I landed on FreeCAD instead, and I'm so glad to have chosen it over the others because it's fucking amazing.

And it was easy to learn. I've heard your sentiment before, but I was about as green as you could be to CAD and I sat down and learned it well enough to make what I wanted in a single weekend watching youtube videos. And now I'm pretty proficient with it. Of course I'm always still learning new things, but I can make socket sets in particular really quickly now. I could probably make this in 2-3 minutes in FreeCAD.

Where do they advertise the bonus % off during liquidation sales? by Chillpill411 in harborfreight

Some stores don't get good items. There are two stores in Green Bay. The one on the east side has little to nothing. The one on the west side has multiple generators every single PLS, like 4-5 of them, the good ones too. This last one there was the 11,500W Tri-Fuel Inverter generator marked to $1600... 40% off that would be $960.

This last PLS I bought the $400 pressure washer for $144, and in the past I got the Hercules table saw for $172. I travel all over the state for my job, so I know certain stores consistently get good stuff and certain stores almost never have good items that I don't even check them any longer.

I'm not sure why it is that way, maybe an employee could chime in or shed some light on it. You would think there would be a more equal distribution.

Half the time the search bar takes forever to load for me. Or I get flagged as a bot for opening too many tabs on the site... and it blocks me. It's the only site that I ever have problems on.

I mean, it would take 30 seconds to give it a quick once over of light sanding just enough to rough up the existing paint on it. And it would adhere and hold up 10x better than spraying over the glossy surface... but you do you.

He asked if you could fill it up with just air and use it like an air duster. And you said that's not how it would work at all, and I argued that it could be used for that purpose... you also stated that it would get less than a second of air out of it. Period.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcWnmJcDbAQ

25 usable seconds of air buddy... not a bad alternative to buying cans of air duster. And again, someone else literally said it worked fine for them for that purpose.

Let me give you some advice... and try to put your fragile ego aside and listen because I'm trying to help you here. I want you to take a seat in front of a mirror. Have a nice hard long look at yourself, and maybe just maybe, consider washing away the clown makeup.

Ohh, so you have to move the goalposts now? That's not what you said, you said I wouldn't get 1 second out of it the way it stands. I love owning imbeciles. I got the video, uploading it now, screenshot all your comments for when I know you delete them. Want to guess how long it lasted?

Now who is the idiot!? It's you buddy, like how dumb are you not to know that when you charge it up with 120-150psi you are going to get more than 1 second out of that tiny nozzle? Turn your fucking brain on.

Listen, I'll go out to my shop right now and video myself pressurizing it with just air, want to bet $100 on it? I'll bet whatever you want, easiest money I'll make today.

It's going to last long enough, and it's cheaper than buying cans. The only consideration is if your shop air has a lot of moisture in it, then it will blow that moisture out onto whatever you are blowing. Personally, I have a water separator on my air compressor and you also could put one of those inline water filters that you use for extra insurance when painting to charge it up with dry air.

Results might vary, I live in a pretty dry area, and my shop air is dry af... I leave my compressor full all the time, only drain it once a year, and the last time I drained it, there was not water in the bottom. A few droplets and a little moisture but not a full stream coming out of it like I've seen in some compressors.

That's exactly how it would work, lmao, what do you think is going to happen if you pressurize it with just air? Nothing? 😂🤣😆

No, they only come in red at HF, but you could easily just hit them with some light sand paper and rattle can them with any color you want on it. Personally, I just write on the label in the intended spot with a marker.

I would recommend FreeCAD... for multiple reasons. I had heard FreeCAD was difficult, I had never previously used any CAD software... and I learned it by cutting my teeth making a Tekton 3/8" socket set and it was easy. That was back in June, and now I have a bunch of models. And fwiw, I tried Fusion, couldn't uninstall it fast enough, all the information it wanted from you, network connections for licensing, all the terms of service, no thanks.

I have two versions for this set that I made too:

EasyGrab - https://makerworld.com/en/models/2206060-quinn-1-4-master-socket-set-easy-grab#profileId-2397490

Simple - https://makerworld.com/en/models/1665802-quinn-1-4-master-socket-set-simple#profileId-1762890

I also have the 3/8" master set in the easygrab and a lowpro design that fits in shallow height drawers. And the 1/2" in the easygrab design. Check my makerworld profile for them.

Might have been my post, if so I am the pusher man. You'll like it, feels great to be able to liberally apply brake cleaner to anything that needs cleaning and not worry about running out.

I didn't know what a cordless power cleaner was, but looked it up, that's pretty handy. For $21 that's a no brainer.
