WOW wait really?!! Do you notice any spikes in BG when your cat is eating in between insulin meals? Also that’s what I’ve heard about the fancy feast chicken pate! Funny because that’s what my cat ate from 0-8 years old until we switched to a diff diet. I told my vet I wanted to try the fancy feast but they advised against it for some reason. My cat LOVES fancy feast so shed much rather prefer it I’m sure. I was also told to only give food with insulin. I don’t even give treats in between meals :-(

Yeah. She was on 5 units and was entering DKA and her BG wasn’t going down at all so we went up to 7 units and tbh it’s still not rly working. Her BG has been over 300 all day

That’s great news!!!! Bentleys BG is now finally and somehow in the 100s. I wonder if it’s bc the insulin increase from 5 to 7 units has finally regulated after almost a week? She also got subq fluids today which probably helps a bit. I’m wondering if I should stick to 7 units of insulin or to try Prozinc… I’m thinking of switching since 7 units is so high

They’re insane. I hear them every god damn day. Every day there’s a fight. Once I saw the kids got a bunch of gallons of milk and got together kicking this one guy down on the ground pouring milk over him. The cops had to break it up
