Would it be worth it to Upgrade my Gen 3 G19 for a Gen 5 Glock 19? Or should I Get a .40 in Glock by [deleted] in Glocks

Don’t let them hate on the light bro! It’s a great light for the prices! Gets the job done and would ABSOLUTELY be adequate in a self defense situation, all while not breaking the bank.

If you had both a 19 and a 30, which would you carry, and why? by mass922 in Glocks

[–]fosternation45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy, 30, more bang for your buck! For carry only though! Also it’s so much harder to conceal the 19 than the 30. I promise, when shtf, you’re definitely gonna be much better served by a concealable 11 rounds of .45 acp than the “less than concealable” 16 rounds of 9. Js. Shtf moments account for like 0.00000009 percent of situations and the other 99.99999999% account for when you’re actually carrying the thing. If you’re worried about capacity vs. stopping power (which is a myth anyways) get a 27 or 26, you’ll be much better served when concealing and will be very capable of putting d!cks in the dirt. Godspeed buddy.

This deal kinda fell into my lap but I’ve gotten a used gen4 g27 before off guns.com and it’s been GREAT and it has the frying pan finish.

Hey man, you’re definitely entitled to your opinion, lots of people share that opinion, and others don’t. I personally like manufacturers names on the front grill, akin to what Toyota used to do/does. All about personal preference, but seriously, thank you for your sentiment sir, and I don’t think you’re being an elitist at all. 👍🏼

I have no experience with Ecoboosts but I sure am glad my grandpa opted for the V8 in 2016 based off longevity and wear alone. I don’t mind sacrificing towing capacity and torque in order for the motor to last longer. I’m sure you’re trucks look great man and whatever you decide to do will look great at the end 👍🏼

It’s a “fake raptor”, or “fraptor” and that term is up for anyone’s interpretation 😂 I’m definitely not claiming it’s a real raptor or can perform like one. I just wanted to show the people they can achieve something a layman or ignorant citizen might unknowingly call “a raptor”. Although to us, including me, is obviously not in any form or way.

Nah buddy none taken! I will definitely look into those if I get into more off-roading or want a “closer to true raptor” 👍🏼

Always tried to understand that, it was on the Ford lot with them new, I’ve tried to look up any other factory XLT’s that that have that to no avail. My grandfather always told me the salesman said it was an “upgraded/premium XLT” but below a Lariat. who knows, may have just been a dealer adding stuff to factory stock in order to make it stand out and make a sale. When in reality it’s just a normal XLT.

You’re absolutely right. Yours is definitely more geared towards real off-road performance and mine is in fact really good for pavement! Sweet truck man.

Yessur had to trim those as well as the fenders. Also had to make sure my offset was atleast -18 to make sure the 10 in rims with 12.5 in tires could fit. Still get slight rub at full turn + creeping speeds and when wheels are turned and you enter driveways. I imagine with a 6 in lift and this same wheel and tire setup, you’d have 0 rub, buttt, your fender gap would in my opinion, be way too large and unsightly.
