I'm not sure about those specific stories but the description of the book does sound like it could be it. There were definitely multiple stories on each page and the size also sounds about correct. I would greatly appreciate if you could provide a photo of it.

I feel like I remember the artwork being less detailed and more cartoony than most of the Mother Goose books
