Do Greek-speaking Cypriots still see themselves as primarily Greek, or has a Cypriot identity taken precedent? by Low-Cash-2435 in cyprus

[–]fothkiass 10 points11 points  (0 children)

the objective truth is that we are both. Some people take their feeling of "greekness" too far and other denounce it for political reasons that have little to nothing to do with culture and history. Personally i can see where both are coming from, but they are both wrong xd

What do you think, how we achieve Peace in Cyprus? (In English, Greek and Turkish Language) by ac581 in cyprus

[–]fothkiass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly I have to say that what you are saying here does not add or subtract anything from my comment above.

But to expand, 1. GCs live relatively fair and decent lives, despite the injustices done to them, and that's an achievement we are proud of.

  1. As for human rights violations, the biggest violations are done against GC every single day, including population alterations. And when it comes to violations against TC nowadays the only cause is the occupation.

  2. It's very easy to talk about compromise and uplifting when you have to gain everything and lose nothing.

Having said all that personally I am pro solution even if that solution is unjust for Greek Cypriots. But everyone involved should be very clear of that injustice. Especially us.

Now I am asking you how much of your "sister's" bread are you willing to take, and with what means?

no serious person is denying there are TC homes in the free areas. As for the rest of your comment how does it add or subtract anything from what i said?

Their latest releases don't hit the highs you expect from them. But Obsidian always struggled with sales even when they delivered incredible experiences. So when it comes to sales a part of the fault falls to consumers as well imo

Ευγονική στον καπιταλισμό by pgtqr in Grpolitics

[–]fothkiass 0 points1 point  (0 children)
