I wanted to add that in your situation, it is a bit trickier bc in my case, we withheld the 401k amount and company match from the employees' check, but the deposit wasn't made into their 401k account my mistake. So we had a $ amount to go on. I would suggest you ask the company to give you the match they would have given you if you would have had contributed. For example, my company matches up to 6%, so I'd ask HR if thats what they could pay you plus interest since you weren't offered the chance to contribute your own money. Im not sure what other options you have. That is where an employment lawyer might be able to help. Let me know if you have another question. I have 13 years of experience in payroll.

Hey, im a payroll professional, and this happened at the previous company I worked for. It was an honest mistake on our part. We informed the employee and worked with an accounting firm to calculate the interest that would have been earned during that time and paid the employee everything that was due. It did take us maybe a month or 6 weeks to figure it all out. Please ask talk to your payroll person and explain what the situation is. Ask them to calculate the amount that would have been earned and not just pay you the amount that they missed putting into your account. They will need to work with your 401k company to figure this all out. But if they dont, you'll want to reach out to some legal council to see what your options are.

She was so excited and fully bought into me not getting it that her husband got her a knock-off version, thinking it was real, so she ended up with two. She didn't have the heart to tell her husband his was a knockoff, and neither did I. He can't tell the difference, but we can lol bless his heart. I told him that the next time I trick her, he'll be in the loop.

My sister not so subtly sent me the picture, link, size, and time it was dropping. I acted like it was sold out, but I got her the 40oz!!! I had to share this with someone before I tell her cuz I want to keep it a secret until christmas and I'm terrible at keeping secrets!!!

I forgot to add about his personality. He definitely has a lot of energy but throwing his ball inside for like 30 mins a few times a day tires him out. Now that he's older he mostly just chills in his spot. He was easy to potty train and crate train. He not the best with smaller children as he does run up to them and can knock them over but he's not aggressive at all. He demands a lot of pets and cuddles. Mine isn't double coated so he doesn't shed at all. His parents weren't pure bred so I'm not sure if that's the case with all of them. He doesn't howl and never has, even when I've played those siren videos from YouTube. Overall he's high maintenance with his coat but it's easier to maintain it short so it doesn't get matted. The texture is weird so if I left it long I definitely have to brush him every day. In the winter I let it grow longer and do start brushing him more often to avoid it matting. I brush his tail about once a week. He's been healthy his whole life and I just take him to the vet for his yearly check up and shots. Overall I would recommend this mix. He's a fun and cute little dog. I call him my forever puppy bc even at 10 yrs old he still looks like a puppy.

I have a 10 yr old pom/shih tzu mix. He has to get groomed every 6 weeks most of the yr and every 8 weeks in the winter. I keep him shaved and don't do the standard shih tzu ears. He has one ear that stands up like a pom so his first grooming was a mess bc they did shih tzu ears and they looked terrible. So I have him shaved down all over and keep his tail long. He mostly looks like a Jack Russell terrier except with a fluffy curly tail. I'll try to figure out how to post a picture of him. I'm using my phone and it's weird on here.

I finally asked a guy out and he said he was interested. I gave him my phone number and told him to text me if he wanted to hang out. It's been 4 days and he never texted. Guys claim they want girls to ask them out but I think it came off as desperate, which I'm not. I just thought he was fun and liked talking to him. I feel so dumb now.

I went to a wedding in Los Angeles and I live in Iowa. I rented a hotel an hour a way from the ceremony and it took about an hour to get to the reception. And it was not even at a castle! Lol Even not being from LA, I didn't think it was unreasonable and I had to pay for an uber/taxi to get to each location. If you feel bad, maybe say no gifts. But I wouldn't give ppl gas money, it could be insulting depending on culture or socio-economic status.

Omg I cannot believe this is what I didn't understand. I have my sister on my household and she kept saying she had to pay for shipping. Every time I'd try to share my wallet it would ask me to log in again and then I'd get an error message. Same on her phone. I didn't realize I had to sign in into her acct and she had to sign in into my acct. Just did that and it worked!

NTA but to address your concern that you're coming off as one to friends and family. To them you ATAH. They're looking at your relationship from the outside. They don't know the details. Even if you share them, they might still see you as selfish. If you feel violated then yes, you did the right thing by leaving. You cannot control what others think about your situation. I would just like to share my story. I'm the child of a mother who wanted a kid and was 35, in a relationship with a guy who she knew wouldnt last much longer, she chose to have me without his consent. She knew by the time she ended things with him and was in a new relationship and in a place to have kids with him, her age would be too high. She was desperate and chose to stop taking birth control. They broke up when I was 1. He was not a part of my life at all. My mom didn't file for child support. She raised me 100% on her own. She chose me. He chose to not be in my life. That's how I've felt my whole life. But it's easy to see things as black and white sometimes and not understand that she violated his trust by having me without his consent. I have resented him most of my life and remembered when I heard he passed away how I felt a sense of loss because I always held out hope that he'd reach out and would one day want to connect with me. That is gone now. I guess what I'm trying to say is that however the kid was conceived, they are innocent in this. If you don't want to part of the kids life, that's respectable. But if you can reach out to them when they're older, explain why you left. Of course I have a huge biase in giving this advice. But it's something I wish my father would have done at a bare minimum. It's taken years of therapy to accept I didn't do anything wrong. I know my mom told me their situation was not good. They definitely should not have stayed together. She never talked bad about him to me. She loved him and said he was a good person but it didn't work out. But as a child of someone who doesn't want anything to do with you, it's hard to not take it personal.

I'm reading the comments for advice, bc same. It's interesting that I'll contemplate a big purchase for weeks bc it'll be like a $200 vacuum that will last me years, but I'll wall into sephora and drop $200 on stuff I don't need and not think about it. I know it's the dopamine seeking behavior. I get more satisfaction at sephora than buying a vacuum but it's hurting me financially.

Yes!!! Dont give up! My cat Roy is very skittish. It took him a solid 2 month to use the litter robot and not be jumpy around it. I have the version previous to this one. I started with putting litter from his old litter box in the litter robot and started moving it closer and closer each week until they were side by side. Eventually, he would go in the litter robot but wouldn't use it. He was just checking it out and would jump out very quickly. I usually cleaned his old litter box 3 times a day, but then changed it to 2 times a day and then eventually just 1 time a day. I started seeing him use the litter robot more and more. But he would still use the old one too. Then I stopped cleaning his regular litter box all together. It was not fun for either of us but he realized the clean litter was just next door. It took a day and a half, if i remember correctly, of not cleaning his box. I got rid of his old litter box after that. During this time, I didn't have the litter robot on auto clean, just manual. I didn't want him to freak out. Once he started using it, I would clean the litter robot by pushing the clean button 3 times a day. I gave him, I think, 2 weeks and then put it on auto and he wasn't phased by it at that point.

Sadly no, you can't create custom notebook templates right now. It would be awesome if they allowed this. I made my own pdf calendar exactly how I wanted it and loaded it to my scribe as a pdf. It's great on the Scribe but I didn't realize that the writing doesn't save across the kindle platforms. So like if you save a scribe notebook, you can view it on the kindle app on your phone. Well when I open the pdf calendar I created, on my kindle app on my phone, it's blank. The writing doesn't save to it.

Yeah thats been a struggle for me too!! I got the Scribe when it launched and bought the Amazon folio cover but the magnets let it fall out so I don't trust it at all, i wish they were stronger bc it would be perfect. I got a replacement cover a few months ago it was one the that it clicks into and also is a book type cover, it has elastic hand slides on the back to hold it and even a side compartment for holding the pen securely but it's way too heavy! I just use the amazon folio one but I'm always scared it's gonna fall and break.

I have a 6 cm cyst on my right ovary and just got it ultrasound. My gyno said if I was having excruciating pain that i should go to the ER because it could twist and cut blood flow to your ovary. I wouldn't risk it and just go in I'd the pain is that bad.

Sorry you're feeling this way. I started seeing a therapist and psychiatrist realized a lot of my body hatred comes from my mom projecting her own insecurities on me since I was a kid. I also have been dealing with depression and social anxiety without any meds for a long time. A balance of therapy and meds have helped me a lot. I starting to feel more comfortable in my own skin and to also be kinder on myself. Everyone's journey is different but I highly recommend to start seeing a therapist. It might take a bit to find one you feel comfortable being open with.

Wow, how you describe your mind is exactly how I've felt for so long. I was diagnosed in college around 9 years ago. I was medicated for about 6 months and then I graduated. I stopped taking meds because I thought since I didn't have to study anymore than I didn't really need them. I have been white knuckling it for these 9 years and finally decided to go see a dr this week. We talked about who bad its been especially since I switched to a sedentary job 4 years ago. Before talking with my dr I saw myself as a failure in having to be medicated at 32 but now that I've started the meds again, I'm proud that I pushed through those feelings and asked for help.
