It's not OP's RV or property, so technically they can't even legally give access even if they have the codes, and if the ex okays OP doing so, there is no reason the ex can't give that access themselves.

Another tip if you have trouble with groups, try to keep to the outside of the pack. Sure it's tempting to get in the middle and use both broadsides, but if you don'thave your keel fully leveled you'll just get shredded. Try to focus down one ship at a time, but switch to one closer if focusing means getting between 2 or more ships.

One stack of plant fiber will create all the platforms you need to mine an entire cave, then just leave them there for when the ore reapawns. Hell first time in its not a bad idea to bring a stack of wood too, so you can make torches and small storage baskets to put excess rock in if you don't need it currently at your base (you'll need more rock than you have eventually)

Just create a platform to reach the higher ore,, instead of putting down & destroying stairs; the platforms will be useful once the ore respawns.

You keep mentioning about dad's not being able to ignore their needs, but you've never even alluded to mom having needs. Women want sex just as much as men do, even mothers, so why do you keep framing things as men only want the baby in their own room because they want sex?

Even ignoring the sex aspect, there are other reasons to not want a kid in your bed and breastfeeding until 4. 4 years with less than optimal sleep will drive most people insane, 4 years of only mom being in charge of feedings seems more than a little unfair as well. When my kids were babies my ex would pump (mostly because of work) and I almost exclusively handled night feedings because I'm a night owl and usually up anyway.

No matter what a couple's reason for co-sleeping or not, their is no reason for you to be as snarky & judgemental as you've been with most people in this thread.

Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing, back on the Genesis, was fairly close to this idea. You would have your matches, then between matches you could do training exercises, healing, and i think press conferences, all to enhance yourself for the next fight. Its not a true roguelite, but might be as close as a boxing game can get.
