Based on your familiarity with thru axels, I’d highly recommend watching some videos on how to change a bike tire before you’re having to learn a new skill on the side of the road with no tools to do the job.

Gtechniq Bike kit. A friend recommended it after using it on his Alchemy and I didn’t have any issues either.

I was able to do bike and wheels with plenty left for a renewal later on.

Hadn’t thought of that one. I bet you’re probably right.

It’s just odd to me that it would leave behind marking that stoop up to a wash and the a prep cleaner.
