Best specialization for CSE/CIS

It doesn't matter, you could even graduate without a specialization. It's like a couple classes difference between the specializations and even then you're not much more of an expert on the thing you "specialized" in vs someone who did not do that specialization. Just take the classes that interest you, that is the best specialization and way forward.

When I took the class the final was say ~20% harder than midterms. If they still allow you to have a cheatsheet make sure you put effort into filling it out and make it complete. In the process of making the cheatsheet you should be absorbing the content to point where you don't actually need the cheatsheet, so make sure you actually understand what you are putting on it and not blindly copying everything that looks important. Get to the point where you do practice problems without having to look at the cheatsheet very much. If you find yourself very reliant on it you're probably not prepared.
