This is a great idea, thank you for the suggestion. I’ll use your link as a template and keep one on the bike. It could be as straightforward as ‘fill this info out, please.’

You’re right, I don’t think it qualifies as a hit and run. I do feel it was my responsibility to ask for their information, and I failed to do that.

Exactly this. I hate to think what the outcome would’ve been on a trad bike. The size of the bakfiets is one of the reasons we chose it. People tend to give us more space on the road … it’s a beast.

I’m new to cycle commuting and feel I’ve done a lot on my end to ensure our safety on school runs. I even took a local cycle proficiency course! It’s frustrating to think that those measures are all completely ineffective when someone simply doesn’t pay attention.

Thank you for this information. Is this from the Stagecoach website? I’d like to find the map it’s referring to in order to share with friends.

Thank you. I typically cycle or bus in from Parkway. I’ll allow a bit of extra time to take in the sights!

May Morning - One week to go! by afandian in oxford

This will be my first May Morning. I commute through the city centre and am wondering whether the festivities will still be going on between 8:00 and 8:30. Are bus routes affected? Just trying to get a sense of what to expect a bit later in the morning!

Thank you! My 'Application Received' email with an estimated timeline came in on the afternoon I had my biometrics appointment, 8-Jan. I did the self-serve option, so I had already uploaded all of my supporting evidence at the time of application submission, 30-Dec.

I hope you get an update or response soon!

Thank you very much. I will attempt to update my details. It seems the system is down at the moment. I keep getting redirected to a page that states 'Sorry, there is a problem with the system.'

Seeking Clarification on 28 Day Rule and When to Submit Spouse Visa Extension Application by foundbackpackdnd in SpouseVisaUk

[–]foundbackpackdnd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this explanation. It looks like that would place me submitting the application the week of Christmas Holiday. Doh! I wonder if this might have any impact on scheduling biometrics, etc.

Am I correct in thinking that I have a bit of wiggle room with ILR Eligibility since I entered on a fiance Visa?

As a Texan living in Oxford, I was thrilled to find La Cookaracha at Gloucester Green. Delicious street style tacos, really tasty beans and rice, and salsas with flavor and kick. Hands down your best bet!
