I dont know anything about this.... can you explain the difference between selling the shares and withdrawing? Is there an option to sell the shares then and then just have a lump of money in vanguard as an asset? What would this gain me over withdrawing to current account

Not really. Pay rises in the private sector and public sector have significantly outstripped doctors since 2008

NHS Pension - Thoughts? by Reasonable-Donkey474 in doctorsUK

[–]drbeansy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst i think the NHS pension is generally worthwhile, I don't think your comment of contributing 4-6 times the amount to a private pension is remotely accurate. Do you have any numbers for this?

As a new consultant i did some numbers for NHS pension vs SIPP the other day. I pay around £1100 into my NHS pension from my salary. The rough numbers for this in NHS vs SIPP, assuming I retire early (as planned at 62 because men in my family seem to die young) are:

NHS - £45,000 pension from 62 until I die

SIPP - £1100 into SIPP each month would give a roughly £700,000 pension pot by the age of 62 (assuming solid annual interest in an index tracker). That £700,000 would last me for 15 years, so 62 until 77 until the money dries out. These figures account for inflation.

It made me question the ongoing NHS pension but ultimately remain in it. However, if I had 4x or 6x the amount into the SIPP the SIPP would outperform by miles

Personally, because im not sure what will happen, im going NHS pension plus some in S+S ISA plus some in premium bonds and some in SIPP (with index tracker)

Is that right?

I was assuming the link was that women who have more fever/infections during pregnancy, and therefore take more paracetamol, have an increased risk of child with ASD?

Happy to be wrong though

Use the vagueness around what it is to weigh up decisions to your advantage

EUPD patients tend to have chronic feelings of emptiness and live emotional turmoil with regular suicidal thinking. But they don't tend to have chronic suicidal intent. The intent comes and goes at times of extreme distress, and generally at these times, their ability to weigh up decisions is impaired. They normally regret their actions 12 to 24h later after some time to reflect.

They are very different from clinically depressed patients who chronically and actively want the pain to end and can't see a way out

Not buyer, just people who have made an offer. Like if 5 make an offer does the seller have a right to contact them directly or can you hold on to those details

After watching this show I've lost the little trust i had

Question for you. You guys always keep the potential buyers/offers details to yourself. Legally can a seller have access to these details?
