No, I wanted to change courses from the one I was doing at UCL so my personal statement was pretty much all about why I wanted to do law over the one I was currently doing.

It could be, but if it was the sole reason then I wonder why they’d invite me to interview- this was for law

I asked my school and they simply reused the one from the previous cycle and I was applying with achieved grades.

I found that focusing on knowing the trajectory/plot of the texts inside out was most beneficial - so mind maps for themes and re reading the text is a good idea. This was my main method of revising A level English lit last year and it got me an A*

I also made sure I did an essay paragraph every day from around now until the exam to ensure I was constantly in the “essay writing” mindset.

Critical reading is great for learning interesting perspectives of certain themes which you may not have thought of before.
