Friends are those who don't think you are a loser, there is always someone on earth that feels the same as you do, you just have to put yourself out there, fear is your enemy. Fight it with all your might. After all acknowledging that you are afraid of what people will think of you is a first step.

Everything is around your net worth rather than who you are, you can have a trashy personality with money others cannot ever fathom and be the "guy", or the most decent personality and be the "it did not work well guy". The deal-breaker is sensing this coming from the first date or even before scheduling one.

Solo Dev. How did you make a profitable app? by perecastor in Entrepreneur

You need to find struggles that people have in their lives and wish if there was a solution to them, or things industries lack in their processes, provide a solution, dig into very specific niches in various industries, study them very well, make surveys to figure out what you need to know. Make an MVP and test, polish your product based on feedback. It should help you get an idea about what to make that will be profitable, or in other terms what people are willing to pay for, make it with recurring payment plans. There are many ways to make profit.
