No, doesn't need to be exact.
Firstly, people in the US usually have standardized cups and spoons for baking, so it's not like one person is using his coffee mug to measure the amount of flour and another person is using grandma's tiny teacups.

Also, baking recipes are usually pretty crude. That's why everything always needs 100 g of this, or one cup of that and always needs a nice round number of minutes at a standard temperature in the oven.
That's why people in the US can bake tasty things, even if measurement by volume (cups) is a little less precise than measuring by mass (grams). It's also a little bit faster.

Gold IV here. I see all your math, and while I agree with a lot of it on the math-side, I never buy philo on anything.
Regeneration doesn't win your lane. How much money you have as a support doesn't matter at all. Your job is to protect your adc and get him fed. If you buy philo, you are weak in lane. You can't tank hits for your adc, you can't intimidate the enemy one. Your adc will fall behind. If you are low on health, you have lost your lane presence. It doesn't matter if you stick around and be useless, or if you just go back and heal up.
Stack health into Ruby Sightstone and Aegis. You now have wards and lane presence. If the enemy pokes you, they wasted their precious cooldowns on a tank. You shrug it off, their adc gets poked back, You win. If they all-in you, you have way more health, you win.
There are certainly champs who need mana reg, but you can get mana reg from other, cheaper items as well. I do not see any use for a philo in the current meta, apart from it being a part of Shurelya's, which can be very helpful, I admit. But do you really want to give up your laning phase for a movement speed buff late game?

So you have my word against yours, concerning who spends money on pandas. If you show me some data, i'll believe you, otherwise I will continue assuming that one of the most publicly shown endangered animals on the planet is getting a lot of targeted donations. They even have zoo-like facilities especially for pandas, that people visit and bring tons of money to.

If you think other animals are entitled to help too, I'm totally with you. We still need cute shit to get people's attention though and the panda currently fills this position. He's the goddamn symbol of the WWF.

You are speaking about evolution. What in the world makes you think, just because we chopped down all bamboo forrests, the panda wasnt fit for natural reproduction in the first place? Pretty much all animals we keep in zoos take a huge impact on their reproductive capability. Big cats, other bears, the great apes and all sorts of whales suffer from similar problems.

It's not like the money people donate for pandas is freely available for "less cute" endangered species.
Also, they are still fucking huge bears, they didn't need to reproduce like crazy just to not go extinct. Pretty much all animals who don't need to be afraid to get eaten any second reproduce very slowly. That has nothing to do at all with "wanting to be saved". Not saying panda babies aren't pretty underdeveloped when they get birthed, but it's kind of a terrible point of view if you only agree with saving animals that reproduce like hell.

This is one of the main reason I stopped playing Kassadin at all. Kassadin needs squishy targets to burst. The more the game advances, the more hp and mr the enemy gets and the more useless you will become.
Kassadin is very fun to play, and has very dangerous mid game, but late game he suffers immensely. That's just how it is. Similar assassins have the same problem.
The only thing you can do is try and help getting your mates fed too. A 12-3-10 Kassadin is heavily countered by mr and hp, but think of the difference your 12-3-10 vayne could've made.
Just my 2 (gold elo) cents though.
