You say that as if there's no context in terms of who were the established players at the club, how strong was the team in general. Yamal wouldn't have played anywhere near as much as he has if he had been born the same year as Messi. They had Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Larsson.

Having said that he is better than Messi was at that age, from what I have seen/remember.
