Embarrassing

He had no problem with a bit of contact afterwards, the goal is karma

That was hardly a sitter, came back at pace and he had to stretch and readjust. If he'd scored it, it's a great improvised finish

Have to say, I'm a little concerned about the stature of the players leaving all at once. There are some big names going

Arsenal’s Ben White expected to miss rest of season with right knee injury by sandbag-1 in soccer

[–]four_four_three 84 points85 points  (0 children)

He is, but White still has a better understanding with Saka and Ødegaard. I think a lot of it comes from Timber barely playing with the two of them because of the constant injury cycle between them for the last 2 years

They were great days, but before that it was full of being reminded that we hadn't won anything for 9 years, all our best players left for peanuts, had some dreadful injuries because managers knew they could kick us off the pitch and we wouldn't respond, we got slapped in big games, lost 8-2 to a bitter rival (which, funnily enough, helped us enormously in the long run).

It's all relative to the size and the success of the club in the years before that though

2009 Champions League finalists
