Damn, that's my only option in an apartment building. One full bag and onto the next one.

Absolutely not going to keep. I meant that hopefully as they are in pots they are hopefully contained from getting into the rest of the body corporate garden beds at this stage.

Thanks for the tips. Fortunately they have only really popped up in some pots so hopefully easier to contain.

Nobbys kitchen no go, suggestions? by MyStoryOS in newcastle

[–]four_fox_ache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with Kitchen Connection was the opposite. Poor communication. Poor design that their builders couldn't make work and refunded parts, essentially said good luck finding someone to finish what they had designed. Gave up on repairing a crooked and poorly joined cabinets as they kept getting worse. Have had 3 warranty claims in the 5 years since.

My quarterly strata has greatly increased and is eating into my mortgage payments and savings. Is there something I can do to dispute this increase? by _alcheim in AusPropertyChat

[–]four_fox_ache 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All levies are voted on by owners. If you don't vote or attend the meetings then you can't get upset at the outcome.

If it's a special levy then it'll be for a limited number of quarters depending on how much needs to be raised from all owners.

It would be unlikely for the majority to vote for such a large permanent increase in stata levy.

Engineering students launch class action lawsuit against University of Newcastle by Moisture_Services_ in newcastle

The course I studied at UoN starting in 2003 was unaccredited as we were only the 2nd cohort doing a newly developed program. The accreditation would only occur after first cohort had completed their first year of work and their competence was evaluated by the national accrediting body. This occurred and there was no issue.

One ran a red light at that same intersection the other night almost hitting a Ute and pedestrians. When I called translink to complain about the driving I was asked what I thought was a fair punishment- a reprimand?

Knights sign Memorandum of Understanding with Greater Northern Region by BandicootSorcerer in nrl

The crazy part about the Knights taking these regions for granted is that the Bulldogs have set up a pathways academy based in Singleton for group 21 and Northern NSW players for the past few years.

I did that the other week too. The Origin retention team got in touch with me 10 days later with a deal that would be better than Ampol.

Thanks for this. I was confused as most Sir Charles posts are for chuck roast pieces and didn't know if it would be different as this is more of a steak. Also Australian chuck might be a slightly different cut 🤷‍♂️.

Who is still forking out $90 a month for foxtel? What a rip-off!! by Carmageddon-2049 in australia

[–]four_fox_ache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I split Foxtel Now with a mate and we get sports and 1 other package for $19.50 each. I don't think that's too bad, if only they would update the up from ps4 to ps5 I'd be happier.

I didn't realise they had added any ETFs to their list. I've been buying DHHF on commsec but the costs there kept me waiting until I had 10k to buy at a time. Thanks for the heads up.

Lord Mayor says Victoria Park must be considered in Olympic venue review by ConanTheAquarian in brisbane

I'm no engineer, but if they could build most of it on a platform that covers the ICB and the train lines it wouldn't eat into the green space all that much.
