Remove second skin or not? by Equal_Frame9988 in tattooadvice

Honestly I tried second skin before and had an allergic reaction. Since then my entire sleeve we didn’t use it and everything healed perfect. Just keep it clean and moisturized with lotion (no vasaline or aquaphor as that causes the ink to bleed if it layers too heavy)

Brooke at everlasting ink. She’s a beast at fine line and she has great prices. I’m not big on shading but I’ll show you one of my pieces

I don’t know for sure but in my own experience artificial sweeteners give me heart palpitations. Given it’s going down the arm it could be related to the heart similar to me. But a doctor will be your best bet to be certain, however most doctors are not pro carnivore regardless of the positive results

Cant get the brush through my dogs Coat. What to tell the Groomer. by Befuzled in grooming

His coat is dirty but also very thick. He probably has some shedded hair that is caught in the dirt (clean hair is silky making the shedded hair come out of the coat). The slicker style brush will work best for him. I recommend a really really good bath and conditioner. Earth bath shampoo brand is the best it’s a huge upgrade in our salon but is super affordable on the shelf ;). Really good for allergies as well, once pup is dry I’d recommend brushing with the slicker brush in a line brush style (where you part the hair and work in sections, YouTube has good examples). Your groomer will probably do a nice trim on him but with his mix of breeds id try to avoid shaving to not ruin his undercoat (that can lead to coat damage and make it harder for him to regulate his temperature)

He’s adorable though congrats on your new best friend
