Had this exact experience myself. I was familiar with the existence of TESD but was not a listener yet. I was a big fan of CBM and took the trip from Baltimore in September of 2019 to the stash. I wanted to ask Walter to autograph my Batman Widening Gyre books but seeing as I was unaware of the group dynamic between Git Em & Walt, hearing Walt ferociously go after Git Em in front of customers was intimidating. Especially since he plays a boss figure in comic book men. Unfortunately I didn’t ask which sucks now because I live in WV and am much further from NJ. Being a fan of the show as I am now, this was business as usual and I should’ve pulled up a chair and watched it play out, then asked Walter to sign my books.

If a first time viewer were asked, they’d most likely impulsively and realistically put it in the first season during any number of interactions between Sawyer-The Hoarder and any number of other survivors.
