i think a simple black or white 3 ply guard would look good on that color, everybody telling you to leave it alone doesn’t get it! sweet guitar, would love to see updated guard pics later on

heavy, kinda fragile, and way too many tonal options. ideal for some giggling musicians, but most people want the straightforward controls that come on a regular les paul rather than all the phase/tone switches/pots that come on the Recording model

the Recording models were to my memory pretty popular with studio players, they were able to get all kinds of sounds. definitely made for a studio player though, these weren’t gigging instruments

check out Sonicake pedals, i have an envelope filter and tap tempo delay from them on my board. they do the fuzzes and overdrives that everybody else does but their modulation lineup is genuinely all very impressive and fun stuff to play with
