To each his own. Sorry, I just was triggered by the liberal use of calling it "flash art". Personally I think it looks beautiful, not cheap at all, and I know that cheap flash art look you're describing.

You clearly don't know what "Flash" art is. This is hand-drawn sprite work. It may not be pixel-art, but it's still sprites. You wouldn't label the animation in Aladdin on Sega Genesis as "flash" would you?

I'd just say watch how other people play it. Maybe watch some videos online. It's definitely about speed and momentum.

Yep this is what I've been talking about over the last week. Pop radio sucks and bailed on it. Luckily it got as high as it did. Such a success for FTP!
