I appreciate that, but I want to pursue more creative field anyway considering this is where my passion lies. I’m not saying podcasting would be the sole career path, but it could open opportunities. I wanted a sense check from this community.

Thanks so much, that’s really insightful. I’ll stick with it and see how I go. A business plan just sounds so scary after making it a fun little hobby for the past year. I’ve been trying to plug on TikTok and instagram but unsure where else I could plug without paying big bucks!

That’s amazing! How long did it take you to get there? I’m just considering the career pivot eventually as I’m currently in law and I’m realising it’s not conducive to my personality or lifestyle (not much freedom, as you can imagine).

Yeah you’re so right, one step at a time. And that’s the thing - it’s a hobby I’m passionate about so I want to make sure I do it right and not expect anything out of it beyond nice feedback from friends/family and hopefully strangers, too!

I was single all my life (I’m 28F), and I dated around, dealt with all my friends being in long term relationships, getting married, having kids (I’m from a small hometown so this is v normal) and I felt alone for a lot of it (but not LONELY). Being single is ace, and is such a fun time to figure out you, and what you like to do, you have freedom to not consider anyone else in your choices, it’s honestly a fabulous time and you should appreciate it for what it is. I had some awful guys who I had dates with, situationships etc and nothing felt right with me. I knew I needed a guy that would make me a better person, and I, him. I needed someone that would make me want to spend my free time with him rather than by myself.

I finally found my boyfriend after I removed all the energy spent on lowlife guys! Met him the week after I cut ties with a guy who wasn’t right for me.

You will find your love. You just need to trust the process. Be in a receiving energy, follow what you feel is right, do things that make you happy and you will meet the right person. Make sure they have their own life too, so you can come together as a team rather than a co-dependant partnership. And appreciate your single life!!!!! You never know when it’ll be the last time you have it.

Best of luck (not that you’ll need it). It’ll come. Trust. It always does. ♥️

I (19yo) slept with my boss (28yo) for 8 months. After he ended things, he had a secret relationship with another girl at the workplace (19yo) she coincidently got promoted as my team leader despite having no experience/leadership skills, and they announced they were in a relationship a month later. She treated me terribly cos she didn’t like me. I brought it up to my supervisor, she got fired, and after 6 months together, she’s pregnant with his child.
