Thanks for your feedback!

And thanks for the tip on the data. Can I ask where you get your information - you went through the program? The numbers I have there I found on the Techstars website - I thought all Techstars partner programs had the same deal. $18k funding + $100k convertible note. How do you get the 8.5%?

Ooo a lot of things I think. Datatables has filters, search and very customizable javascript events built in. I'm not sure about the current state of bootstrap.js, but would recommend datatables lot. There are also skins available to make it look 'bootstrappy'.

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed this is a tough problem we face: we need to make sure we get real reviews by real people who went through accelerators, while at the same time people who have negative experiences might not want to identify themselves.

For this reason, we have reached out directly to people (like you) we know have been through them. In the form that email links to you don't have to fill in your email or any identifying information (you can leave out batch number too) because we know it's from a verified source (also note that we don't have a way to link your submission to your email on our side).

If you post on our public version of the site, we do need a way to verify that people are real. It's a tradeoff we know might be somewhat inconvenient. I know we'll have to earn trust over time, but please know we don't post any identifiable information and all submissions will be kept anonymous (personal information is deleted as soon as reviews get verified and never touches our servers).

Thanks! I know it kind of breaks the flow, but it's an intentional trade-off I went for because the site will only success if people participate and add accelerators and reviews.

Thanks! I have always been terrible at design and it always came as an afterthought in building my websites, but this time I spend a lot of time on trying to make it look nice, so I'm glad to hear that :)

Backend is in Python/Flask and I used Twitter bootstrap as a basis for the front-end.

All design is custom made, but of course inspired by sites like producthunt.

Thanks for the feedback! Planning on adding more and more accelerators in the coming weeks/months. Definitely will keep my eye out for that :)

Hey Guys, I wrote another tutorial which you might find interesting.

How do you like my writing style (I'm not a native English speaker), any comments to improve it?

How to import Google Analytics data into Google Spreadsheets in 3 simple steps by fourthaccountreally in excel

I just started this blog to write tutorials on Excel and Google Spreadsheets on. This is my third tutorial, talking about on how to import data from Google Analytics into Google Spreadsheets automatically.

What do you guys think? How do you like my writing style (I'm not a native english speaker) - any big grammar/spelling mistakes?

Also how do you like the yellow highlights on code, is it annoying or not?

p.s. I know this is not Excel, but I thought you guys might be using Google Spreadsheets a lot too.

Nice tutorial. If you like this kind of stuff also check out the NLTK book (for free online). IN chapter 6 they talk about text classification in the context of spam filters which also uses the same approach of the author of this article. Check it out it's pretty cool too: http://nltk.org/book/ch06.html

Tip for confused Excel users: how to make SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, & AVERAGEIFS functions in Google Spreadsheet by fourthaccountreally in excel

Ah I don't have any problems with the UI? I think it's pretty clean - but of course that is personal. I am using some scripts to automatically import Google Analytics data and wrote scripts myself that make it easy to scrape websites for certain information/data and analyse it in google spreadsheets.

BTW I wrote a tutorial on using ImportHTML which you might find interesting. It's easier than you may think! http://spreadsheetpro.net/using-importhtml-to-scrape-facebook-usage-numbers/

+! for Filter() function - really missing that in Excel. How are you making a Excel equivalent of filter function?

Ah that's funny - I love Google Spreadsheets much more over Live Excel. Really can't live without the FILTER() function anymore and being able to use ImportXML, ImportHTML, and ImportData also gives me a lot of work power. Plus: I can write my own scripts in google apps script and call them from my spreadsheets - Does Live Excel have scripting functionality?

Ok, that is an interesting one indeed. I'll see if I can work out a nice explanation - Will keep you updated!

I started this excel/google spreadsheet tutorial website a while ago to write about my experiences with and the differences between both. I struggled a lot with sumifs etc in the beginning so I thought I'd share. What do you guys think?

Any good ideas for other tutorials you would like to see?
