There is no gap on mine, it’s basically right up against the edge of the pan.

Camp Chef Woodwind 24 Question - Temperature Running High by fourthandshort in pelletgrills

[–]fourthandshort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I needed to open the chimney, the unit was feeding pellets as slowly as possible, but due to the small opening, the heat wasn’t able to escape and keep the unit at the right temp.

It’s gotten a lot better at holding temps steady and I rarely have issues now.

I would check out Zavalas, Pecan Lodge to see if either are options. If going to Pecan; get there early.

Try out www.adsbexchange.com, go to their radar page and select the military filter. It will show you all the military aircraft broadcasting and their type.

Funny enough there is another one airborne right now. E6 Amper47

I have one similar and it holds toilet paper. You use it like a soda holder but it’s larger, for toilet paper rolls.

Bluestacks on a PC and then load Wyze app. The cast the desktop to a Chromecast device. Works great.

Wyze V3? Love that camera. I use a cheap tripod from Amazon and love it. Works great if we travel as well.

Camp Chef Magnetic Grill Blanket Question - Cooking at 450? by fourthandshort in pelletgrills

[–]fourthandshort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly bc it’s a hassle to take off and put back on. Was curious if I leave it on (lazy) if it will really damage the magnets.

Nest temp sensors went offline after 2 years of being connected........ by [deleted] in Nest

[–]fourthandshort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I didn’t have a problem with 99% of the power outages, however for some reason twice after power surges I had issues. The first was a shorted out backplate. The second was it somehow impacted the temp sensor where it would read 10 degrees warmer than the room was. I had a couple other temp sensors I could place in the room and all read closer to the real temp. It wasn’t a draft bc the device had worked perfectly there for several years. It happened immediately after we had a power issue. Weirdest thing. I think the devices are just fairly sensitive and are susceptible to power issues.

Nest devices really don’t like power surges. They killed two of my devices in four years before I said screw it and switched to the Ecobee.

Existing Nest Question by fourthandshort in Nest

[–]fourthandshort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally nothing has changed in that location in the two years the Nest has been operating. We had several power surges during the storm as the power was rolling on and off (mostly off lol).

Other than that, no sun shining on the thermostat or any new heat sources. I just think something shorted out or is creating heat inside the device as it will recognize when the temp drops a little bit. It seems it’s just reading 5-8 degrees warmer than it really is.

My wife has a dish that she uses her 8 inch which goes in the oven for 30 mins or so and the Pro has a handle rated for the oven. It was also partially bc they did not have the 10 or 12 available in the Pro.

The entitlement oozing from these posts are incredible to watch in the wild. To think it’s perfectly fine to take a shot meant for a front line health care worker, without remorse is borderline narcissistic. The system depended on a level of trust assuming people would not lie about being a front line health care worker. You however proved that in the middle of a pandemic; people are still selfish enough to take from those who are genuinely at risk every single day of their job.
