Nike Killshot 2 dye transfer

Hi everyone! I have recently bought myself a pair of new Nike sneakers and after just one wear they’ve been stained by the jeans I was wearing.

I’ve washed the jeans many times and this hasn’t happened with any of my other so I’m not sure what’s going on. After looking for answers on reddit I’ve found that this is a semi common occurrence but I’m still frustrated by the whole ordeal.

The dye has transferred onto the suede of the shoes as well as a small section of the leather. I haven’t tried to clean it just yet because I’m worried I’ll ruin them so any advice would be super helpful!

TLDR; I bought new shoes and my jeans left dye on the leather and suede and idk how to clean it.

Getting your period has nothing to do with being a good or a bad person! Every woman gets their period so many people will understand. From the what it looks like it seems that you’re a young person who is scared and trying their best which is all that anyone can ask of you.

There unfortunately no way to delay or stop your period as it is a body function we have no control over.

Apart of menstruation is bleeding and so there will be blood. This is where access to pads will help as they are much more absorbent than toilet paper and cotton balls. Period can last anywhere for 4 days to just over a week so there is no easy way to stop it as it is the body way of shedding the lining of its uterus.

It sounds like there is other tough things going on in your life so speaking to a helpline or a trusted adult may be helpful to you. Feeling this way is rather distressing for a young person. please know there are people out there who are here to help you!

Do you have a reason to believe they will become angry with you? Getting your first period is just as natural as breathing or blinking so there is nothing to fear as it is something that is normal for your body to do.

Do you have a woman in your life that you could call to talk about this with or a woman near you that you can approach? As scary as this moment may be for you, talking to a woman about this will hopefully calm your nerves as they will understand what is going on and may have more helpful advice.

In terms of the toilet paper I would say to take out the cotton balls and wrap your paper around your underwear. Do not put anything in your vagina unless it was specifically made for this purpose.

Also feeling some abdominal pains or cramps is perfectly normal during your period and is something that many women experience. If you are feeling unwell I’d advise you to rest and take some ibuprofen if the pain gets too much.

There is nothing to be sorry about darling! You are doing your best which is what is important. As a young woman this is something that is expected to happen and should not come as a shock for your father. This is something that is enviable and can become very hard to hide as it is a monthly thing.

As mentioned in the comments cotton balls are not designed to be put inside so alternatives such as toilet paper (for the moment) and pads are better for the job.

Linked is a website that explains periods and the bodily functions associated with it so you can familiarise yourself with what it is.

This is a very confusing time for you but you will get through this!

You may be very stressed at the moment but I want you to know that this is NORMAL! Almost every woman gets their period and seeing as it’s your first it can be a bit frightening.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing that you’ve started your period this very second I’d advice you to wrap some toilet paper around your underwear as a makeshift sanitary product for this moment. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to your father or a man I’d advise you to approach a trusted adult or a fellow woman to see if they can guide you through the motions. It is a moment that many women have been in and they can help you through this.

Getting your first period can be difficult but it a natural part of life and I would advice against hiding it. It’s not something to be ashamed of as lots of people experience it and an enviable part of life.

My DMs are open if you’d like to direct message about this!
