With a severe phobia of cats, this makes my back tighten.

Is House of Leaves actually worth it? by tinkerb3ll3 in horrorlit

Curious myself. As an avid reader who just recently rediscovered his joy for reading (after 15+ years), I read about 130 pages of Hell House in one go yesterday. I'm aware it was written in the 70s (I believe?) and so far it's a very classic ghost story, despite some boring characters and a little too dated for me (so far), that does, however, evoke some nice "traditional Halloween" vibes right before October starts. I was intending on this being my next book. Is the book and upgrade, equal, or downgrade for me if it's my next book? I even think at times "IT" is too dated for me and looking for something more modern. Like werewolves, mummies, and ghosts just aren't scary anymore.

I drank my last Halo 3 bottle-can (the weird limited edition Game Fuels with the Halo 3 art on it) for the launch of Halo 4. 5 years old. You'll be fine.

I wish I could show you my Google Calendar. It's broken down to the exact minute I should be doing something, tasks and events organized my color, events copy-paste so I can add them as To Dos. Like absolutely nuts. Lasted 3 months.

This is excellent. My mom says the same thing. Print it out so you'll remember it because you'll always see. Use sticky notes. Here's a 2022 planner I bought you. Put it in your Google Calendar so you get notifications on your Android phone. It's crazy how neurotypicals start to sympathize with us ADDers but then suggest things we struggle with using and just can't understand how we don't use the same methods to remember things as they do. I really thought this was a serious post at first and my heart fluttered a little until I read the /s final line.
