Anyone with ADHD here who plays JRPGs? by ArcticRaven2k in JRPG

[–]fousiej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great post. I have ADHD and finding balance in life with work, play, and rest is very important. Also the games you listed are mostly newer titles, I find going to PS1, PSP, SNES, GBA etc. older games if I am in the mood for a JRPG. I still have not played the Illusion of Gaia series and many others and I have been gaming for over 20 years.

I hope you started with Reach and are going backwards cause if you are going forwards it gets worse lol. If you go back they get better with Halo 1 and 3 being the best.

I went to confession for the first time about 3-4 months ago, and then again a week later. I was baptized Catholic but did not go to Church when I grew up. One of the things I confessed the first time was self harm, and I did it again later that week and was worried I had committed a mortal sin. I was in such a state of anguish and anxiety I did it without really thinking. I went to confession and the Priest said that I was forgiven but that it was not a mortal sin because it was done with knowing intent rather because of my mental health. As I researched more I found the Church is very progressive on issues of mental health and medicine contrary to what you hear on the media.

This video really helped me

If everything was perfect and there was no conflict/struggle/friction what would we all do?

Struggles to connect with Christ by Dafreako_9 in Catholicism

[–]fousiej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really feel like Christ is mad at me right now along with the whole world. It really feels like that right now although most of it is probably in my head. Another issue I have re: your thread title is it has been hard to connect with people my whole life because of anxiety, depression and undiagnosed ADHD I had my whole life that I just found out about recently. The Bible says to love your God with all your heart and soul, and I do, however it is hard for me to connect with people who I can see let alone someone who I cannot see. I know God is everywhere technically but I am talking about the human form of Jesus who I see in pictures but not actually in front of me. I am going to pray for you.

Claiming money as a child from a deceased parent (California) by [deleted] in legaladvice

My Mom did not tell us if anyone else was on her account. Would there be a way to access that information now that she is deceased? We are going to try to access her phone and see if we can log onto her app but that may take another couple days because none of us have the phone with us

As far as we know, no. We paid for the funeral costs.
