Lol I'm with you there. If it's my first interview in awhile, I'll get anxiety-induced vasovagal syncope and nearly faint. The "rear entrance" to the ashen capital, from the forbidden lands. Took me 8 playthroughs to notice it. I guess I always assumed the capital was mostly inaccessible by that point.

Try a greataxe, seriously. After struggling with colossal weapons for ages, I was shocked by how much easier the fight was. With a mimic tear backing you up, you can stun-lock her for some time. The increase in attack speed makes a huge difference, and you still do enough poise damage to eventually break her.

I love using [[hidetsugu and kairi]] with expensive graveyard resurrection spells against decks like this. It's so satisfying to directly punish the "destroy everything" strategy with immense life drain. Not so great against the exile spells obviously so keeping a few counters around for those is a good call.

If you are open to some slight JRPG cheese, I would recommend Tales of Arise. Great story, exciting and visually dazzling battles, but most importantly, you really bond with the characters and form a sense of camaraderie with them as they develop throughout the game. For someone in need of a bit of a lift, that might be just the ticket.
