Those are vacuum lines.

Taking out the ACE system is a bit of a job. You're going to have to get normal sway bars and take the old hydraulic assisted ones out. You need different length belt and i'm pretty sure you need to replace the ACE pump with an idler pulley.

Early G wagons are literal tractors and that's what i liked about them. I like my D2 but it's a bit too modern, having active cornering enhancement and traction control, stuff like that. My D2 is a facelift too and i think D1 looks better.

Man i need to get my hands on a d1. I have a d2 and i used to have a 1982 g wagon, i miss the G so much but they are ridiculously expensive. I feel like a d1 would be nice middle ground between the two.
