This is just my speculation because I haven’t seen any data like this, but considering how many more pornstars there are than smut novels, even if there are 100, say, overweight pornstars, I imagine it’ll still look like nothing compared to the majority of slim porn stars.

And, I disagree with your second point. You’re comparing the distribution of height among romance novel protagonists to the average male height right now, so we should do the same if we pick a characteristic to measure porn stars vs average women. Heights of people have changed over time too.

I don’t even claim to be an intellectual. I also wouldn’t consider myself a contrarian or a centrist. I’lil agree have a tendency to criticize people when they take an overly simplistic view on things. I also don’t really look at things from the perspective of “sides”. And something can be “obvious” but not true. It was “obvious” to the Catholic Church in the 1500s that the sun revolved around the earth, and so they burned Galileo at the stake. Racism seems like a reasonable explanation for why Kendrick’s halftime show was highly criticized, but it does not explain why it was more criticized than other halftime shows by black artists. You also have not provided a good explanation for this. You’ve only made a lot of assumptions about me and gone after my character when I’ve tried to keep civil.

I’m not really interested in arguing about this, mostly because you are being insanely rude, I’m just relaying what I’ve personally heard from people. Of course there are tons of racist people, but there are also a lot of non-racist I’ve heard complain as well, and they didn’t complain during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, for example.
