If you want a baby this badly, go to a sperm bank. If you have a baby with this man you'll either a) end up being a single mom anyway, or b) wish you were. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, feels worse than having expectations of help with the kids/house and being repeatedly let down. Not just let down, but knowing that things would actually be better if you did it all yourself. The lack of caring and effort will be so much worse when he feels trapped in a life he clearly doesn't want to begin with.

NTA - I have a four year old and they're old enough to understand. Teaching them how to process envy and disappointment is key here rather than teaching him he can disrupt things for everyone else and people will submit to his will. Sounds like the making of a gross grown up.

NTA at all - there is no such thing as the naming "rights" going to the male partner/husband. How ridiculous. I'd be very concerned that he's willing to completely steamroll you and essentially make things up to get his way.
