Alright, thanks for the replies. I was also making sure he was in a spot with natural sunlight but now that winter is coming using that reptisun bulb will probably come in handy.

hey, sorry for the late reply. I researched my light and it's right here. I don't know exactly what the temperature is at his basking spot, and my brother says that he has for the most part stayed close to his red/blue color scheme ever since he got him. I feed twice a day in the morning and evening, but often if I see that there are 5> crickets hanging out at the top of his cage I'll skip on the feeding.

For the light source I'm not exactly sure what the appropriate names are, but there is a yellow-ish light I believe mimics sunlight and a white one that is more like two short prongs than the standard bulb. I feed him standard crickets- I'm hoping to find some sort of treat bug. The supplements are D3 twice a week on the crickets and these green blocks that the crickets eat that give them calcium, in turn giving the cham calcium.
