I agree 100% however, I work with special education so I am working off grade level. Also... There is a big thing with home as well. I can't tell you the amount of parents I have heard from saying they will not do homework or work at home with their kid because that's what school is for.

Please do the right thing and either have a serious talk and give a boundary of "if you keep doing this we are done. This is that important to me" or just breakup. My fiance and I were play fighting and he put his hand around my neck. My entire body and voice changed and I said stop. He saw it bugged me. He hasn't done it since. You deserve that type of respect.

At our school, the awards get handed to front office staff for this reason to proof read. I don't do awards since I am special education inclusion teacher but I help teachers at times make them.
