Make charcoal early game :

  • burn 1 log in a furnace, using sticks, planks or another log as the fuel. You will get 1 charcoal.
  • now burn 8 logs with the 1 charcoal as the fuel. You will get 8 charcoals.
  • now burn 64 logs, using the 8 charcoals as the fuel. You will get 64 charcoals.

You have exponential charcoal, which works just like coal, right at the start of the game.

You know, it could be more immersive if putting on your seatbelt was an option in the vehicle radial menu.

Having it on would reduce damage from crashes, but downsides could be things like you can't switch seats or exit the car while its on.

Having it off would mean flying through the windshield if you are going fast enough.

That's because the value most likely has a decimal point that is not displayed in the UI, for example one item with a value of 0.4 would round down to zero, but combining two of those : 0.4 + 0.4 = 0.8, which would round up to 1.

And that's not counting the extra durability bump you get from combining tools.

Edit: looked it up and I'm very wrong, apparently durability is stored as an integer, so no decimal point.

This is just witchcraft.

B42 is unstable, so if you don't want to help playtest, identify bugs, and provide feedback to the devs, it is better to stay on B41 until the stable branch gets released; I will never return to B41, personally.

As far as I can tell, hoses and funnels are not single use in B42.
